We raise several rare breeds of livestock on our property including American Milking Devon cattle, a Galiceno Horse, and a Horse of the Americas, Gulf Coast Native sheep, Weeder or Cotton Patch geese, Delaware and other chickens, and Muscovy and Wood Ducks. Many of these breeds are listed as critically endangered by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. By raising these breeds, we are supporting the maintenance of genetic diversity in livestock.
